and Michelangelo’s ‘Creation of Adam’,

‘Ceilings’ depicts a ‘story of resistance’ across four panels.

'In a way, this is a fusion of both [Balfour Ker and Michelangelo's work], depicting divine beings finding their individual and collective power, and using it to free themselves.' Themes touch on religion/divinity, resistance, space, and identity.
